MICool.co (the "Site") is operated by Pete's Amazing Rectangle Company, Inc. DBA Existential Garnish, Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). By browsing this Site, applying for a listing, or appearing as a listed business ("Listee"), you agree to the terms below.
1. Nature of This Site — No Endorsement
MICool.co is a curated showcase of Michigan-based businesses and organizations. Inclusion on this Site is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee of any kind regarding any Listee's products, services, business practices, financial stability, legality of operations, or overall quality. We do not independently investigate, audit, or verify Listees beyond the basic eligibility criteria described below. Any decision to engage, purchase from, or do business with a Listee is made solely at your own discretion and risk.
2. Eligibility & Exclusion Criteria
To be considered for listing, a business or organization must generally:
- Be headquartered or have its principal place of business in Michigan
- Be in good standing and actively operating (verified via Michigan LARA business search where applicable)
- Have been in operation for at least one year
- Maintain a solid public reputation with no significant, credible red flags
We do not list, and reserve the right to decline or remove, businesses or organizations involved in or primarily associated with:
- Adult entertainment or sexually explicit content or services
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons sales
- Any illegal activity under federal, state, or local law
- Cannabis products or dispensaries (federal legal status)
- Gambling, betting, or wagering operations
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid, or similar business models
- Payday lending, debt collection, or similarly predatory financial services
- Political organizations, campaigns, or lobbying entities
- Hate-based, extremist, or discriminatory organizations or content
- Any other category we determine, in our sole discretion, is inconsistent with the character of this Site
These exclusions are based solely on the nature of the business or its conduct — never on the race, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, or other protected characteristic of any owner, operator, or employee.
We reserve the right to approve, decline, remove, or modify any listing at any time, for any reason or no stated reason, without obligation to explain our decision. Meeting the criteria above does not guarantee a listing will be offered or maintained.
3. Listee Submissions & Responsibilities
By submitting a business for listing, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to submit this listing on behalf of the business
- All information provided (business name, description, contact information, logo, images, and any other content) is accurate and provided in good faith
- You own, or are authorized to submit and permit our use of, any logo, image, or other content you provide
- Your business complies with all applicable laws and licensing requirements relevant to its operation
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pete's Amazing Rectangle Company, Inc., MICool.co, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or liability arising from: (a) inaccurate or misleading information you provided, (b) your business's products, services, or conduct, or (c) any claim that content you submitted infringes a third party's rights.
4. No Warranty; Accuracy of Information
Listings are based on information provided by Listees or gathered in good faith and may become outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate over time. We make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing. The Site and all listings are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pete's Amazing Rectangle Company, Inc. and MICool.co shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: (a) your use of or reliance on this Site or any listing, (b) any transaction, interaction, or dispute between you and a Listee, or (c) any product, service, or conduct of a Listee. This Site is a directory only and is not a party to any transaction between users and Listees.
6. Third-Party Links
This Site contains links to Listees' own websites, which we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site.
7. Removal Requests
Listees may request removal from the Site at any time by contacting us at info@MIcool.co. We aim to process removal requests promptly but do not guarantee a specific timeframe.
8. Reporting a Concern or Content Complaint
If you believe content on this Site is inaccurate, infringes your intellectual property rights, or otherwise shouldn't be here, contact us at info@MIcool.co with a description of the issue and its location on the Site. We will review and address good-faith reports, including removing content, at our discretion. Repeat or bad-faith reports may be disregarded.
9. Service Availability
We do not guarantee the Site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at all times. We are not liable for any unavailability of the Site or inability to access a listing due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including technical failures, hosting or third-party service outages, or events of force majeure.

11. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior understanding on the subject.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

- Survival. Sections relating to indemnification, limitation of liability, and no warranty survive removal of a listing or termination of these Terms.
- Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.
